Great Balls of Fire Show After a very sound introduction of Rock 'N' Roll it was time for the delicacy of the evening - THE SCOUSE - of course I had forgotten what was on the menu and had already had Scouse for my tea. Still another bowl wouldn't make that much difference to my diet (would it?)... Just one more bowl... It went down a treat especially with the mouth-watering beetroot on offer - hey man! I've been down this road before... let me think????? Oh yeah now I remember it was at another Merseysound Concert I went to in Lowton last year... I bet Jamo had something to do with this... Yeah, I was right all along, Well Done Jamo - and my compliments to the Chef!!!
Has everybody got their raffle tickets? No! Another time around and I manage to pick up quite a few stragglers - or was it the sales patter about the Paul McCartney memorabilia that sold the extras? I know one lady from The Beatles Story was tempted! By the way, I only did the latter half of the raffle collection - well done, and many thanks, to those Gals (& Guys?) who did the original slog and then screwed them up. OK. I'm off to the bar for a Pint of Shandy...
I found service at the bar Excellent, especially so when considering how many people were in the room... Compliments to the bar staff...
