Faron These pages have been set aside to record the achievements of my dear friend Faron.
Of all the characters who lived, and worked, through the 60s Merseybeat era, Faron has got to be the most memorable, in my eyes. He has always throughout these many years been consistent in his flamboyant and sometimes outrageous personality but he knows the business and he knows how to play an audience. Though we lost touch a couple of times, over the years, Faron is still a most thoughtful and faithful friend and we still reciprocate support in both good and bad times - even if it is a three hour telephone conversation in the middle of the night. Here are some pictures I received, of Faron, from Allan Schroeder. The first is a shot taken at Vale Park (Frazier Bird, Wirral Globe), New Brighton - an open air show that Allan did for Merseycats on 2nd Sept 1995. The latter is a shot of Faron at a Merseycats' Jam Session Allan was running at Lacey's in New Brighton (1994/5).
